To facilitate your transactions, online donations are processed through Convio. Transactions are processed in real time, and Convio never stores donors' credit card information. All forms that process personal donor information are encrypted with 256-bit AES. Convio is independently audited based on Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCIDSS) requirements. Neither Convio employees nor CGA staff members have access to credit card data.

CGA collects e-mail addresses from those who wish to receive coalition communication, use our ePostcard template, become members, or make a donation. We use this to send out events and advocacy updates, messages from coalition members and our newsletter. This information will never be shared, sold, or in any way distributed to any other persons or organizations unless we are legally required to do so. You can opt-out of receiving these communications at any time by emailing us at info@congoglobalaction.org.

CGA collects personal information including but not limited to name and e-mail address from those who sign up to join the coalition’s e-mail list, use our ePostcard template, become members, or make a donation. This information will never be shared, sold, or in any way distributed to any other persons or organizations unless we are legally required to do so. It is strictly for office uses, such as demographic information about our membership. We may occasionally use the postal address and telephone number of members to contact them about upcoming events or requesting information.

We collect the domain name and other user information of visitors to our Web site. We also aggregate information on pages accessed and visit and user-specific information on pages accessed or visited. We do not log searches that you make of our website. All information is used exclusively for modifications to our website to better suit your needs and the needs of all Web site visitors.
