At the beginning of April, 2008 members of Congo Global Action gathered from around the country on Capitol Hill to lobby their members of Congress on behalf of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Then we asked Congress to:
Support the Goma Peace Accords
Increase funding for humanitarian efforts in the DR Congo
Support the International Violence Against Women Act
Increase transparency in natural resource management
